Art has been part of my life since I was a little girl, and over the years I’ve learned that creativity is about much more than making something beautiful. It’s about joy, connection, giving, and leaving a little piece of yourself behind.

Today, as I live with Alzheimer’s, those memories—and the opportunity to keep creating new ones—mean more to me than ever.
